News April 2011 I have been working with my own trio in the High Peak - the band is called SAFE and features me, Gavin Barrass and Michael Gilbourne.

SAFE have been meeting weekly and rehearsing a suite which we will be recording over the summer and will be performed at the Vortex as part of the London Jazz Festival on November the 15th. This promises to be a sumptuous evening of Piano orientated music with SAFE, Jonathan Gee Trio, Adam Fairhall and Paul. G. Rogers, headlined by Julian Joseph. We hope to have albums by each outfit ready for release - keep an eye on the ASC website for further details

News December 2009 On October 22 I perfomed a short, new suite, Cold War, for jazz quartet, at the University of Manchester. The band featured Ed Jones (sax), Winston Clifford (drums) and Julie Walkington (double bass).

As we approach the end of 2009 several new recording projects are underway.

Once again the brilliant violinist Andy Long and his New World Quartet have recorded new string quartets, this time by David Beck, Derek Bourgeois, the late George Linstead and Geoffrey Kimpton.
